All New Renault Kangoo Awarded Small Van of the Year at What Car? Van and Commerical Vehicle Awards 2023

The All New Renault Kangoo has been awarded in the Small Van of the Year category at the What Car? Van and Commercial Vehicle Awards 2023, being complimented on its affordable price, unique storage solutions and its option of electric power. The award is not the first for the new addition to the Renault LCV range, as it was previously named International Van of the Year 2022 and won the What Van? Compact Van of the Year award 2022.

With a new look and 20 advanced driver assistance systems, the All New Kangoo is offered with a choice of petrol, diesel, or 100% electric powertrains. An added bonus is the short- and long-wheelbase formats to suit businesses of all sizes. Both petrol and automatic gearboxes are new to Kangoo. Start and Advance are the two trim levels to choose from, with the standard specification including automatic headlights and wipers, 3.5-inch TFT driver information display, DAB radio with Bluetooth and USB connectivity, electric front windows, manual air conditioning, heated and electrically-adjustable door mirrors, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat.

Customers of the electric version benefit from a load volume of up to 4.2m³, a maximum 615kg payload, 1,500kg of towing capacity, and a driving range of up to 186 miles (WLTP). It can be recharged by a typical 7.4 kW Wallbox in little more than seven hours, while rapid DC charging at up to 75 kW can deliver an 80 per cent charge in around 43 minutes. The Kangoo also comes with 22kw 80DC charging as standard.
